This Privacy Policy describes how Orlyxis d.o.o. ("Orlyxis", "we") collects, processes and stores personal data of visitors of the website orlyxis.com, in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and the Croatian Act implementing the GDPR (Official Gazette 42/18).

1. Data controller

2. Data we collect

We collect: (a) the full name and email address you enter in the newsletter subscription form; (b) technical data such as IP address, browser type and operating system; (c) usage data collected through cookies in line with our Cookie Policy.

3. Purposes and legal basis

We process your data based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) to send you the newsletter; based on legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) for site security and statistics; and based on legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) where Croatian law so requires.

4. Retention period

Newsletter data is retained until you withdraw your consent, or for a maximum of 5 years from the last interaction. Security logs are retained for a maximum of 12 months.

5. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can exercise your rights by written request to privacy@orlyxis.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), Selska cesta 136, Zagreb.

6. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell your data. We may share it with carefully selected service providers (hosting, email, analytics) acting as processors and bound by confidentiality. Transfers outside the EEA only take place with appropriate safeguards.

7. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures including transport encryption (TLS 1.3), access controls, regular backups and annual security audits.

8. Changes to the policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the website and, where appropriate, by email.
